Role Overview

As a Cashier with Pilot Company, you'll be the face of our Hampton travel center, processing customer transactions with accuracy and professionalism. You'll operate point-of-sale systems, manage cash and payment methods, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied. Key Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers and POS systems to ring up purchases and process payments accurately
• Manage cash drawers, including opening, balancing, and closing procedures each shift
• Process credit card, debit card, and cash transactions while maintaining precision
• Greet customers warmly and answer questions about products and services available
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and sales floor throughout your shift
• Assist with restocking merchandise and monitoring inventory levels
• Follow all safety and security protocols to protect company assets and customer information
• Work collaboratively with team members to provide seamless experiences for every guest

Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience as a cashier or in customer-facing retail roles
• Comfort operating point-of-sale systems and payment technology
• Strong cash handling abilities and solid mathematical skills
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain professional and courteous during busy periods
• High school diploma or equivalent credential
• Dependable attendance and commitment to following company procedures
• Physical capacity to stand for extended periods and handle regular lifting
