Business Intelligence Developer, Workday

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking a Business Intelligence Developer with expertise in Workday and analytics tools. This is a full-time position based in the United States where you'll play a critical role on the Analytics team, designing and implementing reporting solutions that support clinical and operational decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Implement reporting content and analytics tools within the EHR environment and data visualization platforms
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and project teams to identify reporting needs and prioritize requests
• Design specifications for custom reports and extracts working alongside business intelligence developers
• Build and deliver extracts using reporting workbench extract frameworks
• Set up and modify data models, maintaining catalog and metadata standards
• Develop training curriculum and provide end-user training on power reporting tools
• Test and validate reports following system patches, upgrades, and implementations
• Maintain data integrity and security for assigned applications
• Partner with quality, operational, and business leaders to optimize reports for safety, financial, and efficiency objectives
• Manage the report request intake process

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field; or 4 years of equivalent IT or business experience
• 3 years of analytics experience with SQL and data visualization tools highly preferred
• 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of healthcare information systems
• Relevant Epic Cogito certification/accreditation (required within 90 days of hire if applicable; must remain current)
• Experience with reporting tools including Workbench, Radar, Registries, Metric Framework, Pulse, Crystal Reports, and data visualization platforms
• Ability to work directly with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Strong communication skills for developing education materials and training documentation
• Regular and predictable attendance
