Business Finance Manager

We are representing a confidential healthcare services organization in their search for a Business Finance Manager. Responsibilities

• Maintain an effective control environment under SOX 404 for assigned accounting operations, including both key and non-key controls, control design updates, and oversight of remediation activities
• Perform monthly and quarterly analysis of operational results versus financial plans across state and regional centers
• Prepare financial plans aligned with annual budgets, quarterly revenue targets, profit objectives, and headcount authorizations
• Serve as the primary liaison between regional operations and corporate finance and accounting teams
• Act as a financial resource to senior leadership including Vice Presidents and State Directors
• Review and recommend approval for headcount additions, capital expenditures, and operating expenses
• Provide financial input and recommendations for contracts, proposals, and key account presentations
• Support the annual budget process and recurring forecasting cycles
• Supervise accounting managers and accountants, including performance evaluations, hiring, training, and employee relations

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required; MBA preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in accounting or financial management
• CPA designation preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights
• Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
• Proven ability to support multi-location operations and partner with field leadership
• Supervisory experience managing accounting professionals
• Excellent communication skills to interface with both finance teams and operational leaders
• Willingness to travel as needed
