IAM Technical Architect, Professional Services

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential identity security organization seeking an IAM Technical Architect for their Professional Services team. In this role, you will:

• Lead deployment and integration of enterprise Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions across critical applications and infrastructure
• Serve as primary technical expert, ensuring solutions meet specific customer requirements and business objectives
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to mid-level and junior engineers, helping develop top talent
• Create comprehensive design documentation and testing materials following approved lifecycle methodologies
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and customer success teams to resolve technical issues through debugging and research
• Support sales efforts by creating proofs of concept and addressing technical objections during pre-sales engagements
• Engage directly with customers on both technical implementation and business requirements

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field, or equivalent professional experience
• 2+ years at Senior Consultant level or above with focus on designing and deploying Identity Governance solutions
• Strong expertise in User Lifecycle Management, Provisioning, and Reconciliation
• Experience with Auditing, Reporting, and Access Certification processes
• Knowledge of Segregation of Duties (SoD) and Cloud Security principles
• Strong technical skills in Java/J2EE and SQL
• Proficiency with Web Services (REST/SOAP) and directory technologies
• Experience with Unix Shell/Perl scripting and batch job management
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-energy environments
• Hands-on development and customization experience with IGA platforms
• Exposure to application, data, and infrastructure governance
