Brand Design Lead

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential blockchain infrastructure client in their search for a Brand Design Lead to own and evolve their visual identity across all public-facing channels. This is a senior, hands-on role for a creative leader who can set direction and execute with excellence.

You'll partner closely with marketing, communications, and leadership to translate brand strategy into consistent visual systems and compelling storytelling across product, web, social, events, and campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the brand identity system, including typography, color, imagery, motion, and illustration
• Build and maintain a scalable brand system with guidelines, templates, and reusable components for cross-functional teams
• Ensure brand consistency across web, social, events, content, and presentations
• Translate brand and marketing strategy into clear visual systems and narrative-driven creative
• Lead creative development for product launches, campaigns, community activations, and ecosystem events
• Design or art-direct social graphics, video content, website updates, keynote decks, and event collateral
• Partner with leadership on narrative and positioning, contributing to how the story is shaped—not only how it is produced
• Manage and direct external vendors, freelancers, and agencies as needed

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Senior-level experience in brand design, brand communications, or creative direction
• Experience at a leading brand agency or globally recognized company
• Strong portfolio demonstrating identity systems, campaign creative, storytelling, and high-quality visual execution across digital and physical formats
• Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and contribute to brand narrative and strategy
• Comfortable working at pace in a startup environment with shifting priorities
• Fluent in industry-standard design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)

Preferred:

• Experience in consumer-facing or growth-focused brand work
• Background in crypto, AI, or developer-focused products
• Motion design, 3D, or video direction capability
• Experience supporting PR, event marketing, or integrated campaigns
