Solutions Engineer – Paris

We are representing a confidential legal technology organization that is transforming how legal professionals work. Our client serves top-tier law firms and corporate legal departments across 50+ countries, delivering AI-powered solutions that accelerate document analysis and streamline complex workflows.

We're seeking a Solutions Engineer based in Paris to join their growing European team. In this role, you'll serve as the technical bridge between our client's sales organization and prospective customers, leading technical discovery, designing custom demonstrations, and helping sophisticated legal teams understand how technology can solve their most pressing challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery conversations with prospective clients to uncover pain points, use cases, and specific requirements
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to build compelling demonstrations and proof-of-concept solutions
• Facilitate technical workshops and proof-of-value sessions with customer stakeholders
• Address technical questions, security concerns, and RFI/RFP requirements throughout the sales process
• Act as a trusted technical advisor from initial engagement through contract negotiation
• Design scalable technical solutions and translate customer requirements into clear architecture diagrams and implementation roadmaps
• Partner with product and engineering teams to validate feasibility and communicate customer feedback
• Work with go-to-market teams to shape deal strategy and influence technical approach early in sales cycles
• Develop technical sales content including demo scripts, battlecards, and case studies
• Ensure smooth handoffs from pre-sales to technical delivery and customer success teams

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical roles, preferably in B2B SaaS
• Proven track record conducting technical delivery discussions and responding to client technical questions
• Experience delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations to both technical and business decision-makers
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused language
• Ability to work collaboratively across sales, engineering, and product teams
• Fluency in English; French language skills are a plus given the Paris location
