Legal Engineer, Law Firms

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential legal technology organization seeking a Legal Engineer to work with top-tier law firms in Paris. Our client is transforming how legal professionals leverage AI-powered tools to deliver faster, more precise outcomes for their clients.

This role sits at the intersection of legal expertise, product knowledge, and client success. You'll partner with prestigious law firms across Europe, helping them adopt and optimize cutting-edge legal technology across their practice groups.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to law firm partners, associates, and innovation teams—building trusted relationships and identifying opportunities to scale platform adoption across practice areas
• Take ownership of firm relationships from initial pilots through full-firm deployment, working closely with M&A, litigation, and other departments
• Deliver product demonstrations and training sessions to practice groups and firm-wide audiences, translating technical capabilities into clear business value
• Act as the voice of law firm users internally, sharing insights that inform product development and strategic priorities
• Document best practices and develop scalable playbooks for global expansion
• Guide law firms through the strategic implications of AI adoption, including ROI evaluation and competitive positioning
• Collaborate with go-to-market and engagement teams to drive successful client outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Background in law with experience at a top-tier law firm, ideally across multiple practice areas or firm-wide innovation initiatives
• Strong technical curiosity and comfort navigating conversations around generative AI, technology implementation, and legal productivity tools
• Excellent communication skills across diverse stakeholders—from senior partners to junior associates, lawyers to engineers
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for legal professionals
• Experience evaluating and improving legal processes through technology, whether in due diligence, contract review, or legal research
• Self-directed and comfortable managing multiple client relationships simultaneously
• Understanding of law firm commercial realities: billing pressures, client expectations, and the balance between innovation and risk
• Proactive approach to ambiguity with a bias toward action and continuous improvement
• Founder mentality—high ownership, outcomes-focused, and comfortable with rapid growth environments
