What You'll Do

  • Conduct border patrols and surveillance operations to detect and prevent illegal immigration and smuggling
  • Enforce immigration and customs laws at or near the U.S. border
  • Process and interview individuals apprehended during enforcement activities
  • Maintain border security by monitoring entry points and conducting area patrols
  • Respond to emergencies and security threats with professionalism and urgency
  • Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate enforcement records
  • Work irregular schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require

What We're Looking For

  • Prior law enforcement officer (LEO) experience or comparable federal service
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a Top Secret security clearance investigation
  • Successful medical examination and physical fitness assessment
  • Strong communication and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations
  • Willingness to work in the Irona, Clinton County area
