The U.S. Border Patrol is recruiting dedicated law enforcement professionals to serve as Border Patrol Agents at the GL-5/7 grade level. Your Responsibilities
- Conduct patrol operations and surveillance in border areas to detect and intercept unauthorized crossings and contraband
- Interview and process individuals encountered during border operations
- Investigate suspicious activities and develop intelligence for law enforcement analysis
- Operate vehicles, surveillance equipment, and law enforcement technology across varied terrain and weather conditions
- Prepare incident reports, arrest documentation, and required law enforcement paperwork
- Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require
- Maintain physical fitness and tactical readiness standards
Who We're Looking For
- U.S. citizen between 21 and 37 years of age
- Valid driver's license with ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance
- Excellent physical condition and ability to pass comprehensive medical examination
- Sound judgment, integrity, and strong commitment to law enforcement ethics
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-stress environments
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Willingness to relocate when assigned
