Behavioral Health Lead Clinical Supervisor

Growing Hope is hiring a Behavioral Health Lead Clinical Supervisor to strengthen clinical operations and direct service delivery in Columbia, Richland County. This full-time, salaried position combines hands-on clinical work with leadership responsibilities, serving children, youth, and families navigating child welfare and foster care systems.

What This Role Involves

You will serve as both a clinical practitioner and a leadership resource within Growing Hope's behavioral health division. Your work centers on delivering evidence-based clinical services while simultaneously building team capacity, ensuring quality standards, and advancing the agency's mission to serve vulnerable families. This role bridges direct care and supervisory accountability, requiring flexibility, clinical judgment, and collaborative leadership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical assessment, treatment, and support services to youth and families navigating child welfare systems, foster care placements, and family preservation programs
• Supervise and mentor clinical team members, offering consultation, training, and constructive performance feedback
• Develop and implement individualized behavioral health treatment plans in partnership with families and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain thorough, compliant clinical documentation and ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational standards
• Evaluate program effectiveness, identify service gaps, and recommend quality improvement initiatives
• Coordinate with child welfare agencies, schools, medical providers, and community organizations to support comprehensive client outcomes
• Participate actively in case conferences, clinical consultations, and multidisciplinary team meetings

What You Bring

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related behavioral health field
• Current clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, or equivalent credential)
• Demonstrated experience delivering mental health or substance abuse services to at-risk, vulnerable populations
• Prior experience in clinical supervision, program leadership, or staff development
• Strong written and oral communication abilities and capacity to build trust across diverse communities
• Working knowledge of child welfare systems, foster care policy, and family preservation approaches
• Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive, client-centered practice
