About This Position

As a Service Technician with ECC, you'll be the trusted expert our clients turn to when their electronic systems need expert care. Based in the Kansas City area, you'll travel to client locations throughout Jackson County and surrounding communities to diagnose, maintain, and repair sophisticated equipment. This hands-on role combines technical problem-solving with customer service, ensuring that every installation performs at peak reliability.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain electronic systems at client facilities across Kansas City and Jackson County
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using industry-standard diagnostic tools and methodologies
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment testing to maximize system uptime
• Document service visits, repairs, and maintenance activities with clear, accurate record-keeping
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations to clients in clear, professional language
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards in all field operations

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience installing or servicing electronic systems and equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving abilities
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and documentation
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation to travel throughout the Kansas City service area
• Excellent communication skills and professional customer service orientation
• Physical ability to perform fieldwork, including climbing, lifting, and working in various environments
• Relevant technical certifications or training a plus
