BD Manager, Institutional Payments

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech client building institutional payment capabilities across emerging market corridors. This is an early-stage commercial role within a new business line, offering direct access to senior leadership and genuine influence over go-to-market strategy.

Our client operates a cross-border payments platform serving multiple continents. They are now opening their infrastructure to institutional partners including crypto exchanges, fintechs, money transfer operators, and corporate treasury teams.

As BD Manager for Institutional Payments, you will own the full partnership lifecycle from prospecting through live onboarding, working closely with trading and operations teams to structure deals and move quickly.

Responsibilities

• Source and close new institutional partnerships across crypto, fintech, and payments sectors
• Manage the complete business development cycle including outreach, qualification, commercial negotiation, and onboarding handoff
• Represent the organization at industry events and build visibility within target segments
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate client requirements into product and corridor priorities
• Maintain an organized pipeline and report directly to senior leadership

What We're Looking For

• 3–5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales within payments, crypto, or foreign exchange
• Existing network across crypto exchanges, money transfer operators, or emerging market fintechs
• Proven ability to sell technical products to sophisticated buyers including treasury teams, CFOs, and heads of payments
• Highly organized and self-directed, comfortable working without extensive support infrastructure
• Based in or willing to work from London

Pay
