About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-moving performance marketing agency based in Munich. Our client specializes in creative-driven growth for e-commerce and direct-to-consumer brands across Meta, TikTok, and Google.

They are looking for a Social Ads Graphic Designer who thinks in hooks, not just aesthetics. This is a hands-on role creating static ads, carousels, and ad variations that are designed to stop the scroll and drive measurable results. You'll work closely with creative strategists and performance teams, see the data behind your work, and iterate quickly based on what converts.

This is an office-first position in Munich. The team values close collaboration, fast execution, and a culture of accountability. If you're looking for a relaxed 9-to-5, this isn't it. Responsibilities

• Design static ads, carousels, and ad variations for Meta (Feed, Story, Reels), TikTok, and Google based on creative briefs
• Translate hooks, angles, and offers into scroll-stopping layouts with clear hierarchy, mobile readability, and product focus
• Rapidly build iterations of winning ads: new hooks, formats, visuals, color schemes
• Work within brand guidelines while knowing when to push boundaries for performance
• Collaborate with motion and video teams, delivering files ready for animation
• Use AI tools (e.g., Firefly, Generative Fill, Midjourney) for compositing, cutouts, and scene creation without making output look obviously AI-generated
• Manage your own projects and deliver on time, every time

What We're Looking For

Required:

• At least 2 years of professional experience as a graphic designer, with demonstrable work on social ads or performance creatives (agency or in-house at an e-commerce brand)
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma
• A strong portfolio featuring real, live-launched ads (branding, print, or university projects alone won't be sufficient)
• Excellent sense of typography, layout, color, and image editing (retouching, compositing, cutouts)
• Familiarity with ad formats (1:1, 4:5, 9:16) and safe zones; understanding of how a static performs in-feed
• Knowledge of CTR, hook rate, and ROAS; curiosity about why certain creatives win
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining pixel-perfect quality, even on the 20th variation
• Native-level German (written and spoken)
• Based in Munich with ability to work on-site (non-negotiable)

Bonus:

• Experience with e-commerce brands (food, beauty, lifestyle, supplements)
• Basic After Effects skills to lightly animate statics
• Experience with creative strategy, ad library research, or creative testing
• Landing page or Shopify design experience
