Associate Director of Donor Events

PAC NYC, located in New York City, New York, is seeking a full-time Associate Director of Donor Events to build and expand meaningful relationships with our supporters while coordinating exceptional experiences that celebrate our performing arts mission.

About the Role

The Associate Director of Donor Events plays a critical role in PAC NYC's development and advancement efforts. You'll lead the design, planning, and execution of a dynamic calendar of donor-focused events—from intimate gatherings and exclusive performances to larger cultivation experiences. This position bridges our donors and the vibrant artistic programming that defines Perelman Performing Arts Center, ensuring every touchpoint reinforces their investment in New York's cultural future.

What You'll Do

• Plan and coordinate donor events throughout the year, managing all logistics from concept through post-event stewardship
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with individual donors, major gift prospects, and foundation partners
• Work closely with the development and artistic teams to integrate exclusive performing arts experiences into donor programming
• Manage event budgets, vendor relationships, and operational details to deliver polished, memorable experiences
• Create and execute donor stewardship communications and recognition programs
• Track event attendance, donor engagement metrics, and donor feedback to refine future programming
• Support special initiatives, galas, and strategic fundraising events as needed

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in event planning, donor relations, or fundraising within arts, culture, nonprofit, or similar mission-driven environments
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to balance multiple events and priorities
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities; comfort building relationships with high-level donors and stakeholders
• Creative problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Proficiency with event planning tools, CRM systems, and standard office software
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field
