About This Position
We're hiring a full-time Wedding Dress & Bridal Seamstress to join our Beaufort-based team specializing in bridal and formal wear alterations. This role focuses exclusively on wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and mother-of-the-bride or groom attire, working with some of the finest bridal fabrics and construction techniques in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise alterations on wedding gowns, including hemming, bustle installation, bodice and waist adjustments, strap modifications, and cup or undergarment adjustments
- Execute complex alterations on structured bridal fabrics, including lace, beading, silk linings, boning, and tulle
- Conduct professional fittings with clients, taking detailed measurements and discussing desired silhouette and style preferences
- Install and repair zippers and closures on bridal and formal wear
- Manage alterations for bridesmaids' dresses and family members' formal attire

- Proven experience altering bridal and formal wear
