Production Support – Manager (Associate)

Delta Capita is seeking a Production Support Manager (Associate) for a remote, full-time position supporting its Pune-based Capital Markets team. You will focus on critical derivatives settlements and post-trade processing operations.

About the Role

As a member of Global Markets Back Office Operations, you will oversee production systems supporting business-critical settlement and trading platforms. This hands-on management position demands someone who can handle production incidents with technical rigor, coordinate across global technology and business teams, and champion continuous improvements in system reliability and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive production support for Capital Markets applications, maintaining high availability and operational stability
• Monitor system health, conduct regular health assessments, and anticipate emerging production risks
• Investigate and resolve production incidents within service-level agreements, performing thorough root cause analysis
• Lead incident response activities, coordinate with technology teams across multiple functions, and communicate status to business stakeholders
• Implement ITIL framework standards across incident, problem, change, and event management
• Oversee production releases, system deployments, maintenance activities, and failover procedures
• Support disaster recovery planning and conduct testing and validation activities
• Monitor and manage batch job processing using enterprise scheduling platforms
• Identify and implement automation to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual workload
• Build and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and centralized knowledge repositories
• Mentor junior production support engineers and encourage team knowledge sharing

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in production support roles within financial services or comparable mission-critical environments
• Technical competency with Unix/Linux, Windows Server, and enterprise Java applications
• Strong database expertise in Sybase, Oracle, or SQL Server, including SQL query and script development
• Hands-on experience with enterprise batch schedulers such as Control-M or AutoSys
• Working knowledge of CI/CD practices and deployment tooling (Jenkins, Git, JIRA)
• Demonstrated proficiency in incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident review procedures
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues spanning middleware, infrastructure, and application layers
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with global technical and business partners
• ITIL certification is preferred
