About This Position

As an Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in running our Crockett pizzeria day-to-day. This full-time position offers the chance to develop management skills, lead a delivery and in-store team, and make a real impact on customer satisfaction and business results. You'll work closely with the Store Manager to ensure smooth operations, maintain food quality standards, and create an engaging work environment for both customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and team coordination
• Train, supervise, and motivate delivery drivers, phone staff, and kitchen crew to maintain service and quality standards
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and preparation protocols are consistently followed across all shifts
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues to maintain positive relationships and satisfaction
• Manage cash handling, point-of-sale systems, and basic financial records
• Contribute to meeting sales targets while controlling operating costs
• Open and close the store, securing the facility and completing all closing procedures

Who We're Looking For

• Proven restaurant, retail, or food service management experience, or readiness to step up from a supervisory role
• Strong communication and people skills with genuine interest in developing and motivating team members
• Ability to stay organized, multitask, and work effectively under pressure during peak service hours
• Customer-focused mindset committed to quality and service excellence
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
• Basic computer literacy and comfort using point-of-sale systems
• Food service certification or willingness to obtain one
