Assistant Account Executive, Market Access Marketing

We are representing a leading healthcare marketing agency that specializes in payer communications and pharmaceutical market access. Our talent team is seeking an Assistant Account Executive to join their dynamic team supporting commercial excellence initiatives for global life sciences clients.

This role offers the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams in developing impactful marketing communication programs while mastering the details of medical-legal-regulatory processes. Location: Remote (USA)

Responsibilities

• Implement projects to promote client deliverables and ensure profitability
• Collaborate with Project Management to develop timelines, track achievements, and identify potential project risks
• Manage daily project activities including scope, scope changes, and roadblocks while adhering to timelines and budgets
• Coordinate and participate in content planning meetings with subject matter experts
• Maintain daily client contact, prepare contact reports, and document next steps
• Facilitate medical-legal-regulatory review processes to ensure promotional compliance
• Support development of client proposals, budgets, and reconciliations while monitoring direct and labor costs
• Assist with financial and forecasting report preparation

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with concentration in marketing, communications, or advertising
• Minimum one year of practical experience in advertising, marketing, or medical/health communications agency work
• Background in Traffic, Project Management, or Account Management roles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Direct client contact experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with online submission systems for medical/regulatory/legal reviews (e.g., Zinc or Veeva)
• Medical communications or healthcare industry experience
• Experience writing SOWs and project briefs

Pay

The client's compensation range for this role is $40,000–$60,000 USD annually, with actual compensation dependent on experience, qualifications, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off.
