AI Product Lead

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential client in the marina management software space. They are seeking an AI Product Lead who can identify, build, and scale AI-powered solutions that deliver measurable customer and business value. This is a hands-on, AI-first role based in the United States.

You will work directly with customers, rapidly prototype solutions using AI tools, and own the full lifecycle from opportunity identification through implementation and impact measurement. This role reports directly to executive leadership and offers significant influence over product direction.

Responsibilities

• Build working product solutions using AI as the primary execution medium, moving from problem understanding to working solution without traditional handoffs
• Rapidly prototype, iterate, and refine AI-powered features to validate ideas early through real customer feedback
• Engage directly with customers to understand workflows, pain points, and unmet needs using live demos and working prototypes
• Frame problems clearly and identify new AI solution opportunities with revenue potential
• Define success metrics based on adoption, retention, efficiency, and revenue impact rather than feature volume
• Lead cross-functional efforts with engineering and design teams, aligning work around measurable outcomes
• Evaluate and prioritize initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and learning velocity
• Communicate AI system behavior, limitations, and tradeoffs clearly to both customers and internal stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Strong ability to build working software using AI tools and proven experience rapidly prototyping product ideas
• Deep understanding of probabilistic AI systems, guardrails, and the ability to reason about systems end-to-end
• Direct customer engagement experience with the ability to identify business and revenue opportunities
• Strong product judgment and comfort prioritizing under uncertainty
• Ability to explain complex AI behavior clearly and honestly to diverse audiences
• Leadership through influence rather than authority, with strong storytelling skills grounded in real system behavior
• This is not a backlog-management or requirements-writing role—you must be comfortable building, not just specifying
