AI-First Business & Data Analyst

Position Overview

We are representing a confidential technology consulting organization seeking a highly skilled and innovative Business & Data Analyst to join their AI-powered operations practice. This role is based in the Illinois Medical District area of Chicago and offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of business intelligence, process optimization, and artificial intelligence.

Our client combines deep industry expertise with advanced AI and automation capabilities to help enterprises drive operational efficiency and digital transformation. As a Business & Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing business processes, identifying automation opportunities, and leveraging data to inform strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business processes and identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and optimization
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into data-driven solutions
• Design and implement data models, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to support decision-making
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to measure operational performance and ROI
• Partner with technical teams to deploy intelligent automation solutions
• Document process flows, data mappings, and analytical methodologies
• Present insights and recommendations to client leadership and internal stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Strong background in business analysis and data analytics
• Experience working with AI, machine learning, or intelligent automation projects
• Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms)
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
• Ability to work on-site in the Illinois Medical District, Chicago area
