Program Manager, Local Partnerships

About This Role

We are representing a confidential technology organization that is building a field-forward Local Partnerships team to deepen relationships and positive impact in communities that host their infrastructure. This ground-level team will focus on cultivating meaningful, mutually beneficial partnerships with universities, sports teams, creators, local media, and civic and cultural organizations.

We're seeking a Program Manager to lead program development and execution in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish. This is an opportunity to build something from the ground up while making a tangible difference in your local community.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of local partnership programs from concept to completion
• Build and maintain relationships with universities, sports organizations, content creators, local media outlets, and civic institutions
• Design mutually beneficial partnership frameworks that create lasting community impact
• Manage program budgets, timelines, and deliverables across multiple stakeholder groups
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful program outcomes
• Track, measure, and report on partnership impact and community engagement metrics
• Represent our client organization at community events and partnership meetings

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in program management, community relations, or partnership development
• Strong relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders including educational institutions, media, civic organizations, and cultural groups
• Demonstrated ability to launch programs from scratch and build scalable processes
• Excellent project management capabilities with attention to detail and timeline management
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in or with community-based organizations
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote teams
• Deep understanding of or connection to the Baton Rouge community is highly valued
