About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential AI consulting organization that partners with leading enterprise technology providers. We're seeking an AI Engagement Lead to join their founding team in the UK. This is a unique opportunity to own the full lifecycle of AI transformation engagements that fundamentally reshape how enterprise organizations build software and operate their businesses.

In this role, you will be the single accountable lead for client engagements from initial scoping through delivery, closure, and expansion. You'll work alongside applied AI architects to demonstrate what's possible with enterprise AI tools, run focused proof-of-value workshops, and guide multi-week engagements that drive measurable transformation outcomes. This is not a traditional project management role—you will be a strategic partner to customer sponsors and executives, building the delivery practices that scale our client's impact.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of AI transformation engagements as the single accountable lead, from scoping through statement of work, execution, closure, and expansion
• Translate ambiguous customer inputs into structured engagement plans that technical teams can execute against
• Manage engagement scope, timeline, budget, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery
• Coordinate teams of 1–5 applied AI architects during delivery phases
• Drive expansion opportunities within your accounts and build relationships from individual contributors to engineering leadership
• Lead scoping, pricing, and SOW authoring for new opportunities; translate customer needs into priced, sequenced engagement plans
• Establish delivery frameworks by creating templates, methodologies, and processes that enable consistent, scalable outcomes
• Travel to customer sites (10–20%) for workshops, milestones, and relationship building
• Partner with technology provider customer success teams to ensure engagements translate into sustained activation and usage growth

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of engagement management or technology consulting experience, ideally in a single-threaded engagement-lead model where you owned customer relationships from scoping through closure
• Strong track record delivering enterprise engagements end-to-end
• Proven ability to build and scale delivery processes—you've created playbooks, not just followed them
• Passion for the future of software development and genuine excitement about how AI transforms engineering practices
• Experience managing executive client relationships with excellent communication skills across technical and business audiences
• Exceptionally high agency and ability to operate autonomously in complex, evolving environments
• Technical fluency to engage credibly with engineers and understand AI/ML concepts
• Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available)
