Senior Cloud Architect, Technical (Multiple)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AWS consulting organization seeking Senior Cloud Architects to join their technical team in London. Our client works extensively with government and enterprise clients, delivering transformational cloud platforms and secure infrastructure solutions. This is a high-impact role for experienced cloud professionals who want to shape critical national systems.

The position requires travel to client sites in London up to 3 days per week, with flexibility varying week-to-week and project-to-project. Due to the nature of our client's work with government bodies, SC clearance is required. You do not need active clearance as our client will undertake checks upon joining, but you must be eligible to pass SC clearance. DV clearance eligibility is advantageous. UK-based candidates only.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure, scalable, and resilient AWS platforms for complex enterprise workloads
• Architect large-scale systems covering infrastructure, networking, and security, applying AWS reference architectures
• Provide technical governance over the delivery of significant cloud workloads
• Lead landing zone design and implementation, migration roadmaps, and modernization programmes
• Apply Well-Architected principles in hands-on technical design, ensuring best practices are consistently met
• Build cloud-native security solutions to prevent, detect, and remediate risks on AWS
• Design and deliver workloads using AWS Organizations, CloudTrail, SecurityHub, GuardDuty, IAM and IAM Identity Center
• Provide technical leadership to cross-functional delivery teams and set technical direction for enterprise-scale cloud projects

What We're Looking For

• Extensive hands-on experience designing and delivering AWS solutions in production environments
• Deep expertise with a wide range of AWS services for both platform and workload-focused implementations
• Proven experience architecting large-scale systems with strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, and security
• Demonstrated ability to lead landing zone design, migration roadmaps, and cloud modernization initiatives
• Strong background in cloud-native security architecture and risk mitigation
• Experience providing technical leadership and governance for enterprise cloud projects
• Passion for continuous learning and pushing the boundaries of cloud technology
• Eligibility for SC clearance (UK-based candidates only)

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: £120,000 - £140,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus.
