Senior Manager – Transfer Pricing

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential advisory firm seeking a Senior Manager to join their Transfer Pricing practice in London (Mayfair). Our client works with PE-backed businesses and high-growth international companies, delivering hands-on transfer pricing advisory without the bureaucracy of traditional firms.

This is a client-facing role where you will lead engagements, own relationships with CFOs and tax directors, and apply deep technical expertise to cross-border structuring, documentation, and transactions. You will work in an environment that values practical outcomes, clarity, and technology-enabled delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead transfer pricing engagements end-to-end, including documentation, policy design, intercompany structuring, and HMRC defence
• Advise on tax and commercial implications of cross-border transactions, including leverage and deductibility in PE-backed structures
• Identify and manage transfer pricing risks in transaction environments, coordinating across deal and tax workstreams
• Prepare and negotiate Advance Pricing Agreements and support clients through audits and enquiries
• Manage compliance deliverables including CTSA documentation and OECD-aligned local and master file requirements
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders including CFOs, tax directors, and PE finance teams
• Use technology and automation tools to enhance analysis and documentation delivery
• Mentor junior team members with clear direction and quality feedback
• Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities and supporting outreach

What We're Looking For

• ACA, CTA, or equivalent qualification, or demonstrable Senior Manager-level experience in transfer pricing
• Solid grounding in UK and international transfer pricing regulations, OECD guidelines, and BEPS
• Experience advising PE-backed or high-growth businesses with understanding of financing structures and cross-border tax considerations
• Track record of managing client engagements end-to-end, including financial and risk management
• Strong commercial instincts and ability to deliver clear, practical advice
• Proven ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and communicate complex technical positions effectively
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, project-based environment with multiple concurrent engagements
• Genuine interest in technology and AI-enabled working methods
