AI Developer Intern (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology client in München seeking an AI Developer Intern to join their team for 3 to 6 months. In this role, you will:

• Support the integration of generative AI technologies into existing application software and collaborate on developing new AI-driven solutions
• Assist in analyzing and preparing data for generative AI use cases
• Contribute to evaluating and optimizing software systems with AI components using frameworks such as LangChain and APIs including OpenAI or Ollama
• Support cloud-native development projects focused on AI-driven software solutions
• Assist with integration and use of AI-ready database systems including relational, vector, and graph databases
• Research emerging technologies and methods in generative AI, including Model Context Protocol, agent technologies, and modern AI integration frameworks
• Present and communicate developed concepts and results visually to stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a degree program with AI-related coursework and solid foundational understanding of artificial intelligence
• Practical knowledge of Python and at least one additional modern programming language such as JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, Go, or Java
• Passionate about customer-centric application development, AI, and innovative technologies
• Team player who is communicative and works independently in a structured manner
• Initial experience in cloud-native development (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub)
• Basic knowledge of API design and full-stack software development
• Available for 3 to 6 months to gain hands-on experience and actively contribute to projects
• Very good German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both languages)
