Account Executive

Join Xplor, based in Brea, CA, as an Account Executive in this full-time remote position. You'll drive merchant sales and customer activation for our platform, building strong client relationships and expanding our merchant base.

About This Position

As an Account Executive at Xplor, you'll be central to our merchant acquisition and activation strategy. This full-time remote role allows you to work from anywhere while focusing on identifying and closing deals with merchant clients. You'll combine consultative selling with relationship-building to expand Xplor's presence in the merchant services market.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify merchant prospects that align with our ideal customer profile
• Conduct consultative sales calls and product demonstrations tailored to merchant business needs
• Manage sales pipelines, track opportunities, and maintain consistent follow-up throughout the sales cycle
• Build and nurture strategic relationships with merchant contacts and key decision-makers
• Coordinate with internal teams on customer activation, onboarding, and success initiatives
• Negotiate and close agreements that expand our merchant customer base

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Account Executive, sales representative, or similar direct sales role
• Track record of successfully managing sales cycles and closing complex deals
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
• Proficiency with CRM and sales management tools
• Self-motivated and results-driven with strong time management and organizational abilities
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment and collaborating with distributed teams
• Knowledge of merchant services, payments, or B2B SaaS sectors is a plus
