Part-Time Merchandise Manager

Michaels is hiring a Part-Time Merchandise Manager for our store location at 319 N Central Ave in Hartsdale. In this role, you'll ensure our shelves are stocked, displays are compelling, and customers can easily find what they need across our arts, crafts, and home décor selection.

As a Part-Time Merchandise Manager at Michaels, you'll play a key role in keeping our store organized and visually appealing. This position offers the flexibility of part-time work while giving you real responsibility for the visual presentation and organization of merchandise throughout the store. You'll work alongside our team to maintain the inviting, well-stocked shopping environment that Michaels customers expect.

Your Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain product displays, shelving, and store layouts to maximize visual appeal and customer accessibility
• Ensure adequate stock levels across departments and respond to inventory needs in a timely manner
• Execute merchandising strategies and promotional displays as directed by management
• Assist customers in locating products and provide guidance on merchandise availability
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming shopping environment
• Support inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as needed

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous retail or merchandising experience preferred
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to work a part-time schedule including potential weekend availability
• Enthusiasm for arts, crafts, or home décor products is a plus
