Retail- PT Merchandise Manager

The Opportunity

We're looking for an organized, creative professional to serve as Retail Merchandise Manager and drive the strategic presentation and organization of merchandise throughout our Charlotte Michaels store. You'll combine visual design thinking with inventory management and floor operations to create an inviting shopping environment that supports our sales performance and customer satisfaction goals.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and implement eye-catching product displays and seasonal merchandising themes
• Organize and maintain optimal inventory placement to enhance visibility and accessibility
• Monitor stock levels, coordinate reordering, and ensure proper rotation and expiration management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant sales floor that meets company standards
• Partner with team members to execute promotional campaigns and special event setups
• Provide knowledgeable product assistance and excellent service to customers
• Contribute to store performance goals through strategic merchandise positioning
• Support daily store operations including opening, closing, and restocking as needed

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in retail merchandising, visual displays, or store operations
• Strong creative eye for color, design, and customer-appealing layouts
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities
• Comfort working in a fast-paced retail environment with direct customer interaction
• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling needs
• Physical capability to lift, carry, and arrange merchandise regularly
