As a P.T. Service Team Member at Michaels in Denham Springs, you'll be a key part of our customer service operations, ensuring every visitor has a positive experience. You'll handle a variety of service-related tasks, from processing customer requests to maintaining our service areas, while building strong relationships with shoppers seeking materials and expertise for their creative projects.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with their service needs and inquiries
• Process transactions and manage customer orders accurately
• Maintain knowledge of Michaels' products, services, and current promotions
• Handle customer questions with patience and professionalism
• Keep service areas organized, clean, and well-stocked
• Support team members during busy periods and shifts
• Follow all store policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment
• Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere that encourages customers to return

Requirements

• Previous customer service experience or demonstrated commitment to excellent service
• Ability to work full-time hours, including possible weekends
• Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor
• Reliable and punctual attendance
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
• Basic math skills and comfort with handling transactions
