PWC is hiring a Senior Associate Snowflake Senior Data Engineer for our Data and Analytics Advisory practice in Bengaluru Millenia. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to lead data engineering initiatives for our most strategic clients.

About the Role

As a Senior Associate Data Engineer specialising in Snowflake at PWC's Advisory division in Bengaluru Millenia, you will architect and deliver cloud-native data solutions for enterprise clients. This full-time role positions you as a technical leader in modern data platforms, collaborating with consultants and business leaders to drive analytics outcomes. You'll apply deep Snowflake expertise and data engineering rigour to solve complex client challenges at scale.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement scalable Snowflake data warehouse architectures aligned to client business objectives
• Build production data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using cloud-native technologies and tools
• Optimise Snowflake performance, query efficiency, and cost structures for complex workloads
• Partner with data scientists, analytics engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Guide junior engineers and establish technical standards within the advisory practice
• Lead data migration programmes and support clients through cloud transformation initiatives
• Implement data governance frameworks, monitoring solutions, and security controls

Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional data engineering experience, with demonstrable expertise in Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms
• Expert-level SQL proficiency and strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java
• Proven track record designing and delivering data warehouses and enterprise ETL solutions
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and modern data architecture patterns
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to business and non-technical audiences
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related discipline (or equivalent professional background)
• Flexibility to travel occasionally for client engagements
