The Opportunity

Wabtec is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Foundry Operator to join our production team in Monte Alto. In this role, you'll operate precision casting equipment and contribute directly to the manufacturing of high-quality components that serve industries worldwide. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Operate foundry machinery and casting equipment according to established procedures and production schedules
• Monitor equipment performance and temperature parameters to ensure consistent product quality
• Prepare molds and handle raw materials with precision and adherence to safety protocols
• Conduct basic quality control checks on finished castings and document results accurately
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report maintenance needs to supervisors promptly
• Follow all workplace safety regulations and participate in ongoing safety training
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily and weekly production targets

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Willingness to learn and grow within a hands-on manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality output
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Physical capability to perform demanding foundry work in varying temperature conditions
• Reliability and consistent attendance
• Prior experience in foundry or similar manufacturing operations is a plus
