The Opportunity

Oscar Health is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Member and Provider Services operations. In this volume-driven position, you'll handle critical customer interactions and operational tasks that keep our health insurance company running smoothly. You'll report to the Concierge Operations Manager and work across multiple channels to support members, brokers, healthcare providers, and vendor partners. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in delivering quality service at scale.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Learn and master Oscar's business systems, operational procedures, and technology platforms to serve our members effectively
• Engage with members, brokers, healthcare providers, and Oscar partners through phone, email, chat, and other communication methods based on business needs
• Own and manage your assigned caseload while maintaining service quality, productivity targets, and accuracy standards
• Build strong working relationships across all departments and external partners to ensure seamless collaboration
• Identify operational challenges and escalate issues through established pathways to drive resolution
• Monitor progress on open issues and follow up to ensure timely completion and member satisfaction
• Resolve member and provider concerns promptly while adhering to established turnaround times
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and service quality
• Maintain strict compliance with all privacy standards, regulatory requirements, and safeguards for member health information
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

Who We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of professional experience in a high-volume customer service environment or customer-facing role
• Minimum 6 months of healthcare industry experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English (bilingual) — a strong advantage
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and solve problems quantitatively
• Proficiency with data entry and information systems
• Advanced skills in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office applications
