As Merch Supervisor, you'll oversee merchandise and food & beverage outlets across the venue's various levels and spaces. You'll lead front-line teams, ensure operational excellence, and maintain Sphere's high standards for guest satisfaction and facility excellence. Your role bridges departmental functions and requires adaptability in a fast-paced, event-driven setting featuring advanced immersive technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead front-line colleagues across merchandise, concessions, suites, clubs, restaurant, and catering operations; take ownership of assigned locations and maintain clean, safe, and visually appealing environments
• Conduct and manage daily pre-shift briefings, communicate event-specific information, and ensure staff compliance with protocols and instructions
• Address guest concerns, feedback, and complaints promptly, provide service recovery solutions, and escalate issues as needed
• Execute monthly audits, manage daily inventory tracking, and oversee staff training and motivation programs
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Nevada health and safety regulations across all operations
• Evaluate staff performance, deliver constructive feedback, and mentor team members through coaching and one-on-one interactions
• Collaborate across multiple departments to solve operational challenges and improve service delivery
• Maintain professional appearance and presentation standards while embodying Sphere's commitment to exceptional guest experiences

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2-3 years of food and beverage supervisory experience
• Knowledge of Southern Nevada health department food regulations and current food handling certifications
• Completion of TAM (Techniques of Alcohol Management) Nevada training; adherence to TEAM training guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels
• Point of Sale (POS) and inventory management system experience (preferred)
• Strong business judgment and ability to manage conflict and resolve guest concerns with urgency (preferred)
• Physical ability to lift 25 pounds regularly, stand for extended periods, walk long distances, and remain in constant motion
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and split schedules in a 24/7 venue environment, with potential exposure to theatrical effects, atmospheric elements, and outdoor posts subject to Las Vegas weather conditions
