Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Remote FL)

Oscar Health is seeking a full-time Bilingual Customer Service Representative in Florida, United States to join our Member and Provider Services team.

The Opportunity

This position serves as a high-volume operational role within our Member and Provider Services team. You'll support the core functions of our health insurance operations through a combination of member-facing customer service and internal administrative work. Working closely with the Concierge Operations Manager, you'll handle multiple types of interactions and tasks that keep our insurance operations running smoothly each day.

Your Responsibilities

• Master the systems, workflows, and technologies that power Oscar's business operations
• Engage with members, insurance brokers, healthcare providers, and company partners across phone, email, and other communication channels
• Own your assigned portfolio of cases while maintaining service standards and productivity targets
• Build effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
• Flag issues and concerns to your manager using our established reporting processes
• Keep track of the status and progress of all open cases and pending work
• Route complex matters to the right people and drive timely resolutions
• Contribute ideas to ongoing operational improvements and process enhancements
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all member health and personal information in compliance with regulations
• Adhere to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English with professional-level competency in reading, writing, and speaking
• At least one year of work experience in a fast-paced, customer-service oriented environment
• A minimum of six months working in a healthcare setting or health-related role
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a quantitative focus
• Experience with accurate data entry and information management
• Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office applications

For this position, the base compensation is $19.00 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour available upon successful completion of our bilingual proficiency assessment.
