What This Role Involves

As Assistant Manager of Workforce Operations at Delivery Hero, you'll bridge strategic planning and frontline execution within our Muscat delivery hub. Your focus will be ensuring our workforce is scheduled efficiently, trained to the highest standards, and engaged to consistently deliver the service quality our customers expect. You'll manage daily operations whilst championing process improvements and supporting the growth of your team.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage daily workforce scheduling and capacity planning to meet fluctuating operational demands across our Muscat delivery centre
• Monitor individual and team performance, implementing targeted initiatives to improve productivity and service standards
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and development programmes for operational and delivery staff
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies, local labour laws, and health and safety regulations
• Partner with senior management to identify staffing challenges, forecast workforce needs, and recommend operational improvements
• Maintain detailed workforce records and prepare regular reports on key performance indicators and staffing metrics
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture that motivates staff and reduces turnover

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in workforce management, operations coordination, or team leadership in a commercial or logistics setting
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities and proven success working cross-functionally
• Proficiency with workforce scheduling systems, HRIS platforms, or similar operational management tools
• Solid understanding of labour laws, employment regulations, and workplace compliance in Oman or the GCC region
• Natural leadership ability, with a track record of building and maintaining engaged, productive teams
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to take ownership of operational challenges
