About the Role
This is a full-time position at a Valvoline Instant Oil Change location focused on keeping vehicles running smoothly through essential maintenance and service. You'll work directly with customers and experienced technicians in a fast-paced environment, learning industry fundamentals while contributing to our service operations.
What You'll Do
- Perform oil changes and replace filters (oil, air, and cabin) according to manufacturer specifications
- Check and top off vehicle fluids including coolant, transmission fluid, brake fluid, and windshield washer
- Rotate tires and conduct pressure checks to ensure proper maintenance
- Assist with tire sales and basic tire services when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work station following safety protocols
- Help manage inventory and stock levels of fluids, filters, and supplies
- Provide courteous customer service and answer questions about vehicle maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards in daily operations
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to learn automotive service from the ground up
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work effectively with customers and team members
- Physical capability to lift, bend, and work in various positions during shifts
- Reliable attendance and a positive, customer-focused attitude
