Bosch Group is seeking an experienced Material Planner / Executive to drive global procurement excellence from our Sanand facility in Gujarat, India. This full-time position offers the opportunity to optimise supply chain operations across international markets whilst contributing to strategic procurement initiatives within one of the world's leading engineering and technology companies.

About This Position

As Material Planner in our Global Procurement division, you will take ownership of critical supply chain planning activities that support Bosch's worldwide manufacturing operations. This executive-level role combines strategic thinking with hands-on procurement management, positioning you at the intersection of engineering, logistics, and business strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and international partners to ensure seamless material flow, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery of critical components.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts and material procurement schedules aligned with production requirements and global supply chain strategy
• Manage supplier relationships, evaluate vendor performance, and negotiate procurement agreements to achieve cost and quality objectives
• Monitor inventory levels, optimise working capital, and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency
• Analyse market trends, commodity pricing, and supply risks; provide recommendations to mitigate procurement challenges
• Utilise ERP systems and procurement tools to track orders, manage logistics, and maintain accurate supply chain data
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve supply chain issues and support operational continuity

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Proven experience in material planning, procurement, or supply chain management in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with ERP systems and procurement software; analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with fluency in English
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, global environment
• Knowledge of global procurement practices, logistics, and inventory management
