[EMC] Embedded Android Developer (1 year contract)

Join Bosch Group as an Embedded Android Developer on a full-time, one-year contract in Tân Bình, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh. You'll design and develop Android applications for embedded systems and IoT devices, bridging software and hardware to bring innovative products to life.

What This Role Involves

This Embedded Android Developer position focuses on creating robust, efficient Android applications for embedded devices within Bosch's product ecosystem. You'll work with both application-level code and system-level Android frameworks, collaborating with hardware engineers and product teams to deliver seamless embedded experiences. Your work will directly impact how Bosch's connected devices function in real-world environments across automotive, industrial, and smart home sectors.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Android applications specifically designed for embedded systems and IoT platforms
• Integrate software solutions with hardware components, ensuring reliable device functionality and performance
• Write clean, maintainable code following Bosch's development standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot and debug embedded Android systems, diagnosing issues from application to kernel level
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, firmware specialists, and product managers
• Test applications across multiple devices and configurations to ensure compatibility and stability
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes

What You Bring

• Solid experience developing Android applications using Java, Kotlin, or both
• Understanding of embedded systems concepts, real-time constraints, and resource optimization
• Familiarity with Android framework architecture and system-level programming
• Experience with hardware integration, device drivers, or HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a technical environment
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate technical concepts clearly
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
