[EEC] Automotive Embedded Security Developer

Bosch Group is seeking an Automotive Embedded Security Developer in Ho Chi Minh, Tan Binh Ward, Vietnam to strengthen our electronics and communications engineering team. In this full-time position, you will design, develop, and secure embedded systems powering next-generation vehicles.

What This Role Involves

As an Automotive Embedded Security Developer, you'll work at the intersection of embedded systems and cybersecurity—building robust, secure software solutions for automotive platforms. Your focus will be implementing security-first development practices, hardening embedded code against vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with automotive safety and security standards. You'll collaborate with hardware engineers, automotive specialists, and security experts to deliver products that protect vehicle systems and driver data.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain secure embedded software and firmware for automotive applications
• Conduct security code reviews and vulnerability assessments on embedded systems
• Implement secure coding practices and cryptographic solutions aligned with automotive standards
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to identify and mitigate security risks in embedded designs
• Troubleshoot and debug embedded systems while maintaining security integrity
• Contribute to architecture and design of secure embedded platforms
• Document security solutions and maintain compliance with industry regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience developing embedded software for automotive or safety-critical systems
• Strong proficiency in C or C++ and familiarity with embedded development environments
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices
• Knowledge of automotive standards such as AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, or ISO/SAE 21434
• Experience with embedded debugging tools and real-time operating systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
