About the Role

Nia Community Services Network is seeking a dedicated Program Director to oversee and expand our comprehensive suite of community programs in Brooklyn. As Program Director, you'll guide the strategic direction and day-to-day execution of initiatives serving diverse populations, from after-school youth development to summer enrichment, cultural arts, counseling services, and senior support. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact on thousands of community members annually.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct program strategy, planning, and implementation across youth, family, and senior service areas
  • Oversee budgets, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure effective program delivery
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with schools, community stakeholders, and social service agencies
  • Monitor program outcomes and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement and accountability
  • Lead team members in creating engaging, culturally responsive programs including after-school activities, summer day camps, cultural arts initiatives, counseling services, and community referral programming
  • Ensure compliance with nonprofit standards, funder requirements, and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

  • Proven experience in nonprofit program management or community services
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Demonstrated experience developing budgets and managing program finances
  • Knowledge of community needs and youth, family, and senior services landscape
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, public administration, education, or related field
