What This Role Involves

As Assistant Program Director, you are the backbone of program execution—coordinating daily operations, supporting staff supervision, and handling the organizational details that keep after-school programming running effectively. You'll work alongside the Program Director to maintain program quality, track student data, and ensure all activities align with our mission of community service.

Core Duties

• Assist the Program Director in supervising and managing all aspects of the after-school program
• Support daily program operations, including activity planning and participant engagement
• Manage administrative responsibilities such as data entry, attendance tracking, and record-keeping
• Coordinate with staff and volunteers to ensure smooth program flow and student safety
• Maintain organized systems and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Document program activities and outcomes to track impact and compliance

Qualifications

• Experience in program administration, education, youth services, or a related field
• Demonstrated organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency with data entry and comfort using administrative software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and student populations
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
