About the Role
As a Fund Accountant at Prescient, you will enter a structured, professionally-led environment where precision, attention to detail, and systematic thinking matter. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse daily asset price movements to ensure accurate fund valuations
- Investigate pricing exceptions and reconciliation variances, identifying root causes and resolving discrepancies
- Perform daily and period-end reconciliation of fund accounts
- Support fund administration tasks including NAV calculations and fund reporting
- Assist with regulatory compliance documentation and fund governance
- Maintain accurate financial records and contribute to audit readiness
Requirements
- Recent graduate or early-career professional (0–2 years in finance or accounting)
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline
- Proficiency with spreadsheet software and financial systems
- Strong numerical accuracy and ability to work methodically through detail
- Professional communication and ability to work effectively within a team
- Willingness to develop knowledge of fund accounting principles and investment fund operations
