Travel ICU RN – $2,241 per week

Aequor Healthcare is looking for an experienced Travel ICU RN to join our intensive care team in Elkins Park, Montgomery County. This full-time travel nursing position offers $2,241 per week and runs for 13 weeks starting August 10, 2026, providing nursing professionals with a meaningful short-term opportunity in a dynamic healthcare setting.

What This Role Involves

This travel ICU RN position places you in a fast-paced intensive care unit environment where you'll provide direct patient care in a specialized medical setting. Travel nursing offers healthcare professionals the opportunity to expand clinical expertise while working with diverse patient populations and medical teams. As an RN in the ICU, you'll be at the forefront of critical care delivery, managing complex medical conditions and high-acuity patients requiring constant monitoring and skilled intervention.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and perform comprehensive patient assessments throughout each 12-hour shift
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies under physician oversight
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation and patient records
• Respond promptly to patient needs and alert physicians to significant changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists, intensivists, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery expectations
• Follow all hospital protocols, infection control standards, and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum two years of proven nursing experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced intensive care environment
• Strong patient care and communication skills
