Powder Painter

Minutemen is seeking a Powder Painter for full-time work at our manufacturing facility in Dueber, Stark County. This is a hands-on production role where you'll apply protective coatings to metal components with precision and care.

Role Overview

As a Powder Painter, you'll be responsible for coating metal products with powder paint finishes that protect against corrosion and wear. You'll operate spray equipment, monitor quality, and ensure all work meets our safety and finish standards. Shifts are available: 1st shift (5:30 AM – 3:30 PM) or 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 1:00 AM), with weekly pay starting at $16 per hour.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Operate powder coating equipment safely while following all departmental safety protocols
• Apply powder paint coatings to metal surfaces using correct application techniques
• Prepare metal components through finishing and surface preparation work
• Track and monitor paint inventory levels to ensure supply availability
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to your supervisor

Skills & Qualifications

• Willingness to learn powder coating application techniques
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a manufacturing environment
• Commitment to following safety procedures and wearing required protective equipment
• Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
