About This Position

This Consultant role combines deep industry analysis with strategic problem-solving across healthcare and pharmaceutical markets. You'll work on consulting engagements that leverage competitive intelligence, customer research, medical trends, and commercial insights to shape client strategy. As a member of Prescient's strategy practice, you'll partner with global healthcare and pharmaceutical organizations to identify market opportunities, assess competitive threats, and develop actionable strategic recommendations that influence business decisions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Analyze competitor strategies, positioning, and market activities within healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors
• Conduct primary and secondary research to gather customer, prescriber, and commercial insights
• Synthesize complex data and market information into clear strategic assessments and recommendations
• Support the development of client strategies around product positioning, market entry, and competitive response
• Collaborate with senior consultants and clients to translate research findings into business recommendations
• Build industry knowledge across therapeutic areas, market segments, and competitive dynamics

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, healthcare, life sciences, or related discipline
• Demonstrated interest in or experience with healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries
• Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to evaluate complex competitive and market data
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present findings clearly to clients
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects
