Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential compliance-automation company in the DACH region seeking a Business Development Representative to expand their SMB segment.
In this role, you will:
- Own a dedicated SMB territory and build net-new pipeline through high-volume outbound execution
- Execute structured multi-channel outreach including cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn engagement
- Consistently maintain high activity levels and meet daily outreach targets
- Conduct discovery and qualification calls with SMB prospects
- Hand over well-qualified opportunities to Account Executives
- Maintain clean CRM hygiene and accurate pipeline tracking
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to increase efficiency
- Use feedback and performance data to continuously refine outreach strategies
This is a numbers-driven hunter role where success is measured by pipeline generated, meetings booked, activity levels, and targets achieved.
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment such as startups, consulting, sales, or business development, preferably in a client-facing capacity
- Completed commercial training (kaufmännische Ausbildung) or Bachelor's degree
- C2-level German language skills (essential) and strong English proficiency
- Strong ownership mindset with demonstrated ability to take responsibility for hitting targets
- Confidence in cold calling and proactive outbound outreach
- High energy, persistence, and comfort handling rejection
- Structured and disciplined working style
- Data-driven mindset and comfort working with KPIs
Nice to have:
- Previous experience in Business Development or Sales roles
- Exposure to B2B SaaS environments
- Familiarity with tools like HubSpot or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Experience at an early-stage startup (Series A–B)
