ECommerce Designer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential eCommerce technology company in their search for a talented ECommerce Designer to join their Content team in London. Our client works with major global brands to optimize their presence across digital marketplaces and branded platforms, combining proprietary technology with deep eCommerce expertise.

This is a mid-weight role reporting to the Content Operations Manager. You'll be responsible for creating high-performing visual content for marketplace platforms, managing multiple client projects simultaneously, and contributing strategic thinking to how brand assets perform across different markets and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Design creative assets for Amazon and other eCommerce platforms, from concept through final artwork
• Translate client briefs into engaging, on-brand visual content that performs across marketplaces
• Manage multiple concurrent design projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with the Content Operations Manager, copywriters, and other designers to deliver high-quality work
• Communicate design ideas and feedback clearly to internal stakeholders and clients
• Maintain brand consistency and attention to detail across all outputs
• Proactively identify project issues or dependencies and raise them early
• Stay current with design trends, marketplace standards, and UX best practices
• Provide feedback and guidance to junior designers or third-party partners
• Conduct or support training sessions in Adobe Creative Suite for the team
• Define overall content strategies for clients and provide feedback on designs and copy

What We're Looking For

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience designing for Amazon (A+ content, Storefronts, PDP imagery)
• Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite—Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (3+ years required)
• Experience producing content for digital or eCommerce platforms
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• High attention to visual detail, layout, and brand alignment
• Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience optimizing content based on performance metrics and A/B test results
• Strong knowledge of design principles, typography, and color theory
• Collaborative team player who can also execute independently

Advantageous but not essential:

• Portfolio showcasing relevant Amazon and eCommerce design work
• Design-related qualification
• Experience designing with generative AI tools
