Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a high-growth technology company in the enterprise software space. This London-based organization has achieved remarkable traction with global enterprises and is scaling rapidly. We're seeking an exceptional Legal Counsel to join as the second lawyer on their team, reporting directly to the Head of Legal.

This is a rare opportunity to join a well-funded company at an inflection point, where you'll have significant autonomy to shape legal operations across commercial, corporate, and compliance functions.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements with enterprise clients, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
• Collaborate with enterprise sales and customer success teams to identify legal roadblocks and negotiate favorable terms that accelerate deal closure while managing risk appropriately
• Manage high-volume enterprise contract workflows, providing triage to help sales teams prioritize negotiations and remove obstacles
• Develop and maintain playbooks and fallback positions for common enterprise negotiation scenarios to enable faster deal cycles
• Partner with product, engineering, and security teams to advise on legal and compliance implications of new features, particularly around data handling, AI capabilities, and user privacy
• Conduct legal reviews on product releases to ensure alignment with evolving data privacy regulations and contractual commitments
• Support development of compliance documentation, feature specifications, and AI policies for enterprise prospects
• Support corporate and strategic projects, including fundraising and international expansion

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone who is commercial, capable, and ready to operate independently:

• Qualified solicitor with relevant training from a top law firm, minimum 3 years' PQE (more experienced candidates welcome)
• Proven expertise negotiating and closing complex, high-volume SaaS agreements with enterprise clients
• Demonstrable experience with data privacy and international compliance frameworks (GDPR, SCCs, DPAs), with ability to advise confidently on complex cross-border data transfer and regulatory issues
• Strong performance in fast-moving environments with ability to manage competing priorities at scale
• Comfortable operating with incomplete information and making sound judgment calls under pressure
• Genuine interest in how AI and legal tech can transform legal operations, including contract automation, legal ops efficiency, and process redesign
• Reliable judgment on both legal matters and commercial strategy, with ability to communicate complex issues clearly to leadership and customers
• Experience managing large portfolios of concurrent negotiations, multiple stakeholders, and shifting priorities while maintaining excellence and attention to detail

Location: London office, with in-person work required Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
