Product Manager – Android Integration & Ecosystem

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential enterprise technology client in their search for a Product Manager focused on Android integration and ecosystem strategy. This Munich-based role sits at the intersection of connected hardware, enterprise software platforms, and B2B technology ecosystems.

You will define product strategy for how our client's devices connect, integrate, and create value within enterprise Android environments. Your mission is to transform integration from a technical necessity into scalable capabilities that differentiate the product and unlock commercial opportunities. You'll identify recurring customer needs, decide where to build versus partner, and shape how the platform connects with enterprise applications, management systems, and third-party developers.

This role works closely with engineering, sales, solution architecture, and a device-focused product manager to create coherent end-to-end propositions for enterprise customers deploying connected device fleets at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve product strategy and priorities for enterprise Android integration and ecosystem capabilities aligned with customer needs and business goals
• Work directly with customers and sales teams to distinguish individual requests from broader market needs and turn opportunities into scalable solutions
• Translate recurring integration needs into repeatable product capabilities including APIs, SDKs, tools, interfaces, documentation, and deployment solutions
• Shape product experiences around device setup, provisioning, application distribution, device management, and fleet operations at scale
• Make pragmatic decisions about build-versus-partner trade-offs, balancing customer value, strategic control, speed, scalability, and technical complexity
• Identify platforms, applications, standards, and ecosystem players that matter to customers and shape integrations, certifications, and technology partnerships accordingly
• Explore where integration capabilities, software, services, and ecosystem propositions can create differentiated value and support commercial or recurring-revenue opportunities
• Partner with engineering and other product managers to create alignment on customer problems, priorities, trade-offs, and desired outcomes
• Enable customer-facing teams to clearly explain supported capabilities, integrations, and common deployment patterns
• Maintain forward-looking view of enterprise Android, AOSP, enterprise mobility, and adjacent technologies, translating developments into strategic options and product priorities

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Strong product management experience in B2B or enterprise technology with demonstrated ability to define strategy, discover customer problems, prioritize opportunities, and build scalable products
• Commercial mindset that naturally connects product decisions with customer value, differentiation, business impact, and value capture opportunities
• Experience working with enterprise software, platforms, connected devices, integrations, or technology ecosystems
• Technical depth to understand architecture, interfaces, and trade-offs, contribute credibly to platform discussions, and recognize when deeper engineering expertise is needed
• Systems thinking: ability to look beyond immediate requests to understand underlying patterns and design simple, repeatable solutions
• End-to-end ownership mentality with ability to move initiatives forward in ambiguous environments
• Strong collaboration skills across product, engineering, sales, solution architecture, customers, and external partners
• Clear communication across technical and non-technical audiences with ability to create alignment and drive decisions without formal authority
• Curiosity about customers, business, and emerging technologies with pragmatic judgment to balance speed, simplicity, quality, and long-term value
• Fluent English and comfort working in international environments

Valuable but not required experience in:

• Enterprise Android, AOSP, or adjacent Android ecosystems including environments outside standard Google Mobile Services
• Enterprise mobility management, MDM/EMM, device provisioning, application deployment, or connected fleet management
• Rugged or industrial devices, IoT, edge devices, connected hardware, or B2B technology ecosystems
• APIs, SDKs, developer experiences, and enterprise integrations
• Platform or ecosystem strategy, technology partnerships, certification programs, or developer and partner ecosystems
• Enterprise customers deploying technology at scale
