About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential natural products company in Berlin seeking an Accountant to join their growing finance team. This role sits at the heart of accounts payable operations and offers the chance to shape digital finance processes in a collaborative, international environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle including recording, verifying, and posting incoming invoices in the ERP system
- Execute payment runs and perform bank account reconciliations
- Clarify open items and ensure consistency between general and sub-ledgers
- Support preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and create statistical reports
- Lead finance projects focused on digitalization, process automation, and system optimization
- Collaborate closely with IT and cross-functional teams to drive process improvements
What We're Looking For
- Completed training in accounting (such as tax clerk qualification) or degree in business administration
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally with accounts payable focus
- Proficiency with ERP systems (experience with Odoo is a plus) and confident use of MS Excel
- Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented approach to numbers and processes
- Strong interest in digitalization and process automation
- Very good German skills (minimum B1 level) and solid English (C1 level) for working in an international team
